Gender Equality

Long before humanity knew religion, caste, race and regional divisions, it was aware of the distinct existence of men and women. The differences over time started to define their worth.

So universal was the scope that United Nations adopted Gender Equality as one of the 17 sustainable Development Goals in 2015 and aimed to achieve them by 2030.I repeat, 2030.

So, when in 2025, I came across news articles like India celebrated the victory of ICC Women's world cup for the first time just last month or a  female cadet made history by
becoming the first woman cadet to receive the prestigious President Medal at the National
Defence Academy early this week, I take took a sigh of relief.

But then the left hemisphere of my brain makes me recall the last time we were able to use the pronoun 'She' for the Head of Government in the country!

Food for thought, everyone!

What brings me back to good state is the fact that celebrity MasterChef India 2025 title was won by a male celebrity for a skill long associated with only women.

So, it can be concluded that we have come a long way and still have miles to go.

But beyond all this & more, students....... What I wish for is girls to win in their feminine energy and more importantly boys to be masculine enough to embrace the femininity around them, for a future that honor's co-existence of different sides of the same species.
After all, a person of quality respects everyone's equality.

May we all win in our energies At least that's how I understand Empowerment.

Thank you
Nirali

Gender Equality

We live in a world so wide and free

Yet being bound by inequality

Why must genders, colors or names

Decide our worth or set our aims

A girl can dream, a boy can care

strength and kindness, both can share

When every mind can think can grow

Then every soul deserves to glow

Equality isn't just a word we say

It's the light that guides our way

No crown gender makes one tall

It's the respect and love that rules us all

Let's break the walls, let voices blend

For fairness should never bend

Together we rise in equal chapters

Gender Equality is what that matters

Learn to Express, Not to Impress

 Listen to your heart.

 Trust your instincts.

Know your dreams and believe in your own strength.

If you can dream it, you can do it.

Keep the faith and follow your vision — because anything is possible if you truly believe.

Some people live to impress, and some live to express.

Life always gives us two paths —

 one that pleases the world,

and one that stays true to ourselves.

Always choose the path that honors who you are.

Remember:

A river cuts through rock not because of its power,

 but because of its persistence.

In the same way, if you give your heart, mind, and soul to your work,

you will surely hit the bull’s-eye — if not today, then tomorrow.

And every step of that journey will make you stronger, wiser, and better.

Impressions on others can be created by tricks, style, and surface appearance.

But the ability to express yourself — truly, confidently, and meaningfully —

comes only from knowledge, understanding, experience, and self-belief.

So, through this wonderful theme “Learn to Express, Not to Impress,”

we have tried to inspire you to speak your truth,

 to share your ideas,

 to show your feelings,

and to believe in your own voice.

To express yourself with confidence,

you must choose to live above average,

 not as an average.

 It may be challenging —

but remember, difficult is not impossible.

And that is where growth begins. now i would conclude by few lines.

‘LIVE TO GIVE - THE JOY OF SELFLESS ACTION’

Greatness doesn't always wear medals or stand on a stage. Sometimes it walks quietly beside us, helping others without seeking attention”.

It is a privilege to throw light on a value that is simple in words, but divine in meaning -Selfless Action, meaning - doing your duty without expecting anything in return.

Let us explore this through three lenses - Lord Krishna's life, heroes of our country and journey as a student.

Let us begin with the greatest teacher of selfless action - Lord Krishna.

In the Bhagavad Gita, standing in the middle of the battlefield, Krishna didn't fight for himself. Instead, he guided Arjuna - not for fame, not for reward - but for Dharma, the higher purpose.

Krishna's own life was an example of this.

He stood by truth, protected others, and gave wisdom - without expecting applause.

His greatness came not from what he received, but from what he gave.

India's freedom is the result of countless selfless heroes who sacrificed everything for us.

  • Mahatma Gandhi walked barefoot with truth in his heart - not for power, but for peace.
  • Bhagat Singh chose the gallows at just 23 -not for fame, but for justice.

And this is not the end, there are many more….

These heroes never asked, "What will I get?"

Instead, they asked “What can I give?”

Now, let's bring this to our own lives as students-

You don't need a battlefield or a freedom struggle to practice selflessness.

You can do it every single day:

  • help a classmate without expecting praise.
  • work hard, not for medals, but to learn and grow.
  • Follow discipline and take responsibility, develop the habits that every citizen needs habits that build a strong and ethical society.
  • Use your talent for the nation- whether you write, sing, paint or design, use your gift not just to compete but to contribute.
  • Be future ready but rooted - learn global skills but do not forget Indian values.
  • Respect all religion and culture, promote harmony.
  • Serve in community project- volunteer in tree planting drives, blood donation camps, awareness rallies etc

These are not small acts. They are the seeds of greatness.

In the world of competition, let us not forget compassion.

In the race for marks, let us not forget morals. And in the journey of success, let us not forget to serve others.

Let us perform every task – whether big or small - with devotion, honesty, and no expectation.

Because in the end, it is not the reward that makes us great, but the heart with which we act.

Advertising

“The most powerful element in advertising is the truth.”

Advertisements can have both positive and negative impacts on students. On the positive side, advertisements can provide educational content, promote creativity, and enhance critical thinking skills. They can introduce students to new products, ideas, and perspectives. Additionally, advertisements can serve as a source of inspiration and motivation for students.

However, there are also potential negative impacts of advertisements on students. Excessive exposure to advertisements can lead to materialism and consumerism, as students may develop a desire for unnecessary products or feel pressured to conform to societal standards. Advertisements can also perpetuate stereotypes and unrealistic body images, which can negatively affect students' self-esteem and body image.

It is the duty of teachers and elders to educate students about the persuasive techniques used in advertisements and help them develop media literacy skills. This will help them  to  critically analyze advertisements,  make informed decisions and resist the negative influences of advertising.

Stay informed and choose wisely.

Stress Management

I will conquer my stress

I will not let it conquer me,

I will win the day

Stress will not win over me

Stress is not what happens to us. It's our response to what happens. And response is something we can choose. Stress management is an important tool for students in order to stay healthy, productive and motivated. It can be overwhelming to balance the demands of school, work, and social life. However, there are a few key stress management tips that students can use to help them stay on top of their lives. First, it is important to learn how to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time. Setting achievable goals can also help reduce stress levels. Additionally, students should exercise regularly to reduce stress levels and get into a healthier routine. Finally, it is key to take some time for yourself each day, even if it is just a few minutes for some quiet reflection or a few minutes of meditation. With these tips, students can better manage stress and lead healthier and more productive lives.

  " कोशिश कर हल निकलेगा,आज नहीं तो कल निकलेगा। "

अर्जुन सा लक्ष्य रख निशाना लगा, मरुस्थल से भी जल निकलेगा।

मेहनत कर पौधों को पानी दे, बंजर में भी फल निकलेगा।

कोशिश कर हल निकलेगा।

कोशिश कर हल निकलेगा।

Indian Cinema

Power of the Human Spirit

Today I want to talk to all of you about the power of the human spirit and how it can help us to be greater than our surroundings. We are unique and multifaceted creatures, capable of reaching new heights when push comes to shove. Let us compare this to a radio which has limited choices by comparison.

The FM radio has static stations which it can search to, ensuring a thinned variety of sounds and broadcasts. Though the programming may be enjoyable and diversified, it has its limits. On the other hand, humans can mix and create new ideas and moments, through exploration, intuition, creativity and empowerment. We can go beyond what is known and into new terrains.

Just as a radio can be overridden to a different station, changed to fit your needs and desires, we too can be re-calibrated to our liking. We can shift our mindsets, knowledge and goals to make life a bigger and more enjoyable experience. Our thought processes, no matter unique or shared, can create totally new worlds and moments that have never been seen or embedded before. It is only natural then, that we have the capability to make the most of what is around us and take advantage of the world's vast amount of opportunities each and every day.

So, if you're ever feeling a bit off or demotivated, remember that you have the power to change your life in ways a FM radio could never ever do. We are not limited to one station, as we have full control of what we can do, where we can go and where we can evolve.

Always remember children, Learn from yesterday, live for today and hope for tomorrow.

Thank you for your time and I wish you all the best in your endeavors.

Zindagi ki seekh

‘If you can’t fly then run,

If you can’t run then walk,

If you can’t walk then crawl,

But by all means ......... keep moving”

Namaskar everyone, this is RJ vihaan back with your favourite show “Zindagi ki seekh”

Very rightly said by Sir Martin Luther king whose first national day was celebrated on 18th of January.  People say that dreams can’t be achieved if you don’t have the resources to make it true, but this man proved it wrong, what was his weapon , money, ?power? Noo, it was his mentality about getting his dreams come true and that’s what he did. Mentality is the main reason everyone gets their dream come true, it is the reason Lion is known as the king of the jungle, it is the reason that makes countries freee.

If you don’t believe what I am saying ask from those scientists who made new inventions with the help of their mentality, ask from those soldiers who have the mentality to keep us safe, ask from those men who swung up on the ropes in their early 20s because they went on with their mentality and became a great inspiration for us, ask from that man who belonged to the lower castes and had no importance in the eyes of the upper caste but it was his mentality he is now known as the father of the Indian constitution.  Now I leave it up to you whether u want to be as successful and renowned as them or you want to die unsung, at last I would like to conclude with a few lines:-

This is RJ Vihaan signing off and hopes to see everyone as the symbol of mentality in the upcoming time, till then SAYONARA!!

Never Give Up

Suddenly fired from the company he co-founded himself he was left alone with depression and heart broken at age of 30 Steve Jobs Co- founder of Apple Incorporated, CEO and majority stake holder of Pixar Studios. He again joined Apple later and  it became the first trillion dollar company in 2018.

Rejection was only thing he experienced in his early life he refused to give up JackMa founder of largest E-Commerce Alibaba & China's richest man.

After his retirement at the age of 63 all he received from government was a cheque of 105 dollars he decided to cook but his chicken recipe was rejected 1009 times by the restaurants Colonel Sanders Founder of KFC one of the biggest food empires in the world.

She was diagnosed with the clinical depression and became suicidal .Her book got rejected by 12 major publications.

JK Rowling author of Harry Potter the best selling book series in the history.

So students what is common in the above mentioned eminent personalities i.e. Steve Job, Jack ma, Colonel sanders  & J K Rowling ?

They are glaring examples of never give up attitude and those who denied their failure.

You may be the only person left who believes in you but its enough. It just takes one star to Pierce the universe of darkness..... never give up.

We feel like giving up at some point in our lives, in the various journeys that we undertake. Sometimes we give up even before we start and other times most crucially We tend to give up just before we are about to make a huge big breakthrough

But we should realize that our hardest times often leads us to the greatest moments of our lives. Keep going should be our mantra.

Tough situation helps in building strong people. We should not fear failure but rather fear not trying.

Anything is possible as long as you are alive healthy and free. You have the choice to keep trying until you finally succeed but yes you have to be realistic

The words give and up should never be used together. Being part of human kind you are one of the most enthusiastic and strongest beings to have ever walked on the earth. To taste success you are always faced with temporary defeats, just always keep in mind if you give up at these defeats you will fail but if you keep going you will become successful and here are reasons why you should never give up.

      You have everything you need.

You are alive and for you nothing is impossible.

You need to prove it to yourself.

      Success feels great.

It could change for the better.

You will learn a lot from not giving up.

      You deserve happiness and success.

      Failure is normal

So dear students always remember it is always the darkest before Dawn. So stay true to yourself ,work hard and never give up on your dreams even when Nobody Else believes in them. These are not clichés but real tools.

No matter what you do in life always stay focused on your path and NEVER GIVE UP.....

Positive Attitude

Positive Attitude gives you Power over your Circumstances.
Positive thoughts generate positive feelings and attract positive life experiences.

The positive mind gives you strength, it gives you peace, it develops in you objectivity and directs you towards a positive life.

And, My dear ones, you must believe me when I say, that it is this positivity that starts reflecting in your every action.
Everyone tells me, Pragya, it is easier said than done and I agree, but, I also believe that you should put forth just one, first step and you are already halfway through. Let me also utilize this opportunity to tell you how …………..

So Respected ma’am, my fellow colleagues, my chhota packets ‘n’ not so chhota packets, just start your day feeling thankful for a great, accomplished day ahead.

Believe that the universe is putting in the best of its resources to make your dreams happen. Hug yourself, give your parents a hug, thank them for the efforts they put in for you, for their unconditional love and support, sing, dance, fill yourself with so much positivity that everything starts looking beautiful, agreeable, lovable.

So, be bold and take the first step-love “yourself” unconditionally.
Always Remember-
There is very little difference among people and that little difference brings about a big difference and that difference is – The difference of attitude-
POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE

Life is Beautiful

Live it, Love it and Learn it.

When you arise in the morning think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive, to breathe, to think, to enjoy & to love.
Life is beautiful & even more so, if you are living a life filled with happiness, peace & contribution.
Even with its struggle & difficulties, life can be beautiful, depending upon what you are focussing on. A beautiful life is one that makes you feel fully alive, is full of inspiration & creates a deeper more connected environment for us to live in. Keeping this fact in mind, a few steps on how to live a beautiful life.
·         Always be grateful for the blessings & gifts you already have.
·         Try to know & understand yourself.
·         Work out what a beautiful life means to you.
·         Start to make changes towards living your beautiful life.
·         Give always love to feel more love.
·         Practice forgiveness.
·         Look at things from a new perspective.
·         Be more flexible in your thinking.
·         Live a beautiful life to make a difference in the world.

In short, if you want to see the beauty around you then make yourself beautiful from inside because “God created your life & he made you in charge to color it & make it beautiful”.

Power of Discipline

We can see the examples of real discipline in every natural resource in our daily lives. Sun and moon rise and set at the right time. Morning, evening and night come daily without getting late, rivers always flow. All the planets in the orbit move in the sequence.

In parade all are in uniform dress code, raising hands and feet in the same style marching towards in common direction and obeying commands. We call this uniformity as a discipline. Discipline is the act of living a life following some rules and regulations.

Look at examples of all great persons in history Mahatma Gandhi, Steve Jobes, Jawaharlal Nehru, Albert Einstein they all were successful in life because they lived with discipline.

There are many aspects of the discipline. Some of them are.

1.   When you accept responsibility and take control over your thoughts and feelings you become a more effective, happy and positive person in everything you do. This makes ordinary people do extraordinary things.
2.   Your ability to discipline yourself to set clear goals and then to work them every day will guarantee your success. The difference in success and failure is not a chance but a choice. To develop self-discipline you must choose to do what you should do.
3.   Discipline helps in taking the right decision. So, Never give up because FAIL means the first attempt in learning. END means Effort Never Dies
NO means Next Opportunity.
4.   The most precious gift that God have given us is TIME. The fact is that you cannot save time you can only spend it efficiently. Always ask yourself.
IS THIS THE BEST USE OF MY TIME.
5.  Self-discipline develops your Character. It takes considerable will power to do the right thing in every situation.
6. Excellent health requires life long discipline on the 5 P’ s Proper weight, Proper diet, Proper exercise, Proper rest and proper attitude.
When you walk in the queue to the assembly that is the basic example of physical discipline.
Mental discipline helps to stay away from adulteration and corruption. Emotional discipline helps to stay away from immoral habits.
7.   Self-discipline help us to deal courageously with the fear in your life.
A disciplined man is a virtuous man.
The more the citizens are disciplined the stronger the country becomes. The less it is the weaker the country becomes. A small number of disciplined soldiers can defeat a large number of undisciplined soldiers.

You have to follow it all the time whether you are in school, home, institution, playground or other places.

No home can be peaceful and happy if the member of the family is not in the discipline. Then that family will break up sooner. Discipline develops strength, unity and foster cooperation.
You should obey the order of our parents and teacher to be successful in your life.

(i)       Do not talk while being taught in the class.
(ii)      Do regular study in your home.
(iii)     Do not make the classroom dirty.
(iv)     Do not tear pages from your notebook.

Enjoy the little things in your life

“Great things are not done by impulse but by a series of small things brought together’’

What makes your day beautiful? What do you think when you go to bed at night? Do you smile looking back at the thing that happened during the day? It might be a small thing and that’s where the beauty lies.
Life is made of small moments and if you can collect these moments you will never feel alone. When there are days when nothing seems right & everything seems messy. The work, the relationship, the mind everything seems difficult & hard .On these days you need to remember those small moments of your life that may give you some strength to go through these days.
We all have those small moments or things that often go unnoticed or unappreciated because we think that they are either insignificant or we take them for granted because we live in a culture that celebrates big accomplishments. But what if we make it a habit to embrace and celebrate the small things? Real life is happening all around us while we are waiting for the big things. The truth is that often the things that matter most are the small ones.
We have tons of reasons for doing small things in life to express positivity about self, inner satisfaction, happiness & self recognition. If you practice small things you will stop reacting & start responding in life.

Here are few inputs –

10 minutes of meditation or yoga every day will help you to stay healthy & improve your concentration.

5 seconds smile to each person you meet daily will help you to release your stress.

5 minutes observation every day for the activities you do for yourself & for your loved ones will help you to set priorities in life.

10 minutes research every day to diversify your skills or adding a new skill will help you for the better prospect at work place or innovating ideas for solving complex issues.

2 minutes encouragement, appreciation or complements to the people at work, family or friends will make positive impact on healthy relationship.

“Enjoy the little things in your life, for one day you’ll look back & realize they were the big things.”

Role of a Teacher

Teacher is one who shapes up the whole life of the students through his/her knowledge, patience, love and care.

He /she acts as the pivot from the transmission of intellectual tradition and technical skills from generation to generation and helps to keep the lamp of Civilization burning.

The world changes day by day and there is no doubt that the modern society is not the same as the ancient one, where the teacher was the one who used to get heartfelt gratitude and respect from their students. They would follow their teacher blindly and have faith that whatever he /she is doing that is for the betterment of the students.
We have many such examples of this like Eklavya and Dronacharya , Chandragupta Maurya and Chanakya but in present scenario the role of teacher is same as guru, facilitator, whereas the student's perception has changed towards the teachers in the context of discipline, obedience, honour and regards for teacher.
A very good example of this is of our assembly where when teacher comes and wishes Namaskar  hardly few students reply and she has to remind them then you wish back.
And other examples is of Zumba.
Where teachers know it perfectly or not but they do it in front of you to teach you.
But what you all do?  So please check yourself and it is humble request that please do respect your teacher, show gratitude towards your teacher and finally obey your teacher. Because they are the one who wants to see you on the top of the world.
