Effect
of weather and climate on the income of daily wages workers.
Wage labour is the socioeconomic relationship between a worker and an employer, where the worker sells his labour under a formal or informal employment
contract. These transactions usually occur in a labour market where wages are market determined. But the
conditions in which they work are very tough because of changes in weather
conditions, natural disasters etc.
This is an
initiative to protect environment from the irrepairable damage caused by the
human actions and also to spread awareness among the people about the hazards
caused by these actions. If we use any environmental resource beyond its limit
of replacement, we may lose it forever. Therefore, here is a need to create
awareness about environment protection. Although, while efforts are being made
at the national and international level to protect our environment, it is also
the responsibility of every citizen to use our environmental resources
carefully and protect them from degradation.
Thus, we
have taken this topic for our NATIONAL CHILDREN SCIENCE CONGRESS project to
create awareness for our environment and to understand the problem of daily
wage workers, i.e. they face because of the unpredictable weather conditions of
our state.
